These are two pieces I created for the featured artist exhibit at
The Gallery in Beaufort, SC. The first,
"Walking The Old Bridge", is more structured and planned. The second piece,
"Snake Lady Gets the Big Banana", is more spontaneous, coming directly from the
myriad of paper pieces on the work table. Hands down, more people liked the structured piece. In fact it was probably the most popular of 17 pieces. I personally like the innocent spontaneity of the Snake Lady and the fact that she got the
Banana. ? What makes us like one thing better than another? Personal aesthetics? ?
