Art Mundo's Calendart 2010
This year's Art Mundo Calendart art calendar event is right around the corner!! We have 24 amazing artists making up 24 calendars.
No Two Calendars Are Alike!
Each calendar has 12 original pieces of art, removable from the month page and suitable for framing. Chances to win may be purchased from Art Mundo during regular hours at The ArtBank (Tuesdays and Thursdays - 1:30 to 5:00 pm, Saturday mornings - 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and every Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, by emailing artmundo.org@gmail.com or on the evening of the Calendart Party.
The Calendart Party is November 13, 2010 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm at Art Mundo in The Underground at The ArtBank. Light fare will be provided.
At the Calendart Party, 23 calendars will be raffled, 24 original framed artworks of The Calendartsts and 1 Calendart calendar will be sold at live auction.
THE CALENDART PARTY IS OPEN TO EVERYONE!

for an "Altaring" experience as we spend 3 hours devising and constructing personal altars to help facilitate the fruition of our dreams and goals.

That was a mouthful!
My altar, closed, to help me manifest the building of my own home in Eleuthera.
Notice the building on the right? That's my brand new Studio.
Here is my altar opened with my house and my studio.
See how it is up on the hill with a walkway down to the shoreline?

That's me sailing over to my new home, and that's the view from my Studio!!
Seriously, though, we'll have some fun.
We'll investigate our personal desires.
We'll make altars to support these desires.

Lack Of Activity
I've noticed lately that a lot of people, that includes ME, have been somewhat dormant. Is it laziness, boredom, lethargy . . .
I know I haven't been in the studio for fun for a looooooonnnng time. My excuses?
The place is a mess.
It's cold outside.
Which shouldn't really matter except that 1. I get "dormant" when it's cold outside and perhaps more importantly 2. My studio is a screened in carport, a lovely space really, but cold when it's cold. And then I get dormant and no way am I going out there to straighten up when it's cold.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Creative Every Day
I've decided to take the challenge set up by Creative Every Day, a blog I discovered over the holiday break. Essentially she's challenging you to at least blog several times a week to share how you've met the challenge of being creative on a daily basis. You can check it out HERE as well as in the sidebar. I've also listed Creative Every Day under the blogs I follow. Let's see how it works.
You may consider this one of my resolutions. I am, however working on some REALLY BIG ones. If all goes well and if I'm courageous enough, this may be a REALLY FUN year.
