Bowls!

My first firing in my kiln!  Still and forever, probably, working on my
knowledge of glazes.  There were some great surprises, some not so great.
It's all about the learning, though and I'll do my best to remember what I did
on the ones I like so I can perhaps revisit them in new form!

Painted Paper, The Addiction!

I've discovered that besides being fun, painting paper
is an emotional release.  It doesn't require a "subject".

THE PRESSURE IS OFF!  Ha!

It's just a play between, patterns, color and style.
When at this play, worrisome thoughts melt away and the sheer joy
of making marks, picking pleasing color combinations
& "aha-ing" to the next bit of paper and paint take center stage.

Painted paper on the studio table.

The drama.

The shapes and colors.

Aha! The beginning of inspiration.

FUN.

Spinners

It's sometimes the simplest things that delight the most.
A bit of wood, a circle of cardboard.

Paints, colored pencils, markers . . .

The magic of simple kinetics.

Join me at Art Mundo for a couple of hours of simple fun
creating and playing with spinners.

Check here for the schedule to this and other fun, creative classs.
If it isn't quite there yet, check again later.  It will be.

Art Games Continues

Continuing to work on the Art Games.

This is the transfer from a laser printer that I printed on Trixie's Entourage box.
It was so interesting because I used wintergreen oil for the transfer agent.
The smell was heavenly!

A Christmas Wish For All

May we cherish and live in the moment,
seeing the joy, humor and beauty that each moment holds for us.
I say, "Lets have some fun!" Why are we here if not to have fun.
There's fun to be had in even the slightest task.
While we're at it, lets add some music.  And crank it up.  Blast it throughout the house.

Dance!

Have some fun!

So with that I say:

Happy Holidays & Party On Dude!
(See you at the ArtBank Art Wednesday.  December 14, 5 to 8 pm.)
